Itinerary

From 8.30 am: We pick you up at hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where Vietnamese people worship him as a National hero, then visit Ba Dinh Square where Ex-president Ho Chi Minh declared Independence of Vietnam in September 2nd, 1945. A short drive to Banana Island on Red River delta to see green banana and vegetable farms. Go further to Long Bien bridge, you will stand under it and have unforgettable photos.

You visit Hoa Lo Prison. It is also known as Maison Centrale in Hanoi or the ‘Hanoi Hilton’ housed Vietnamese revolutionaries & American POW during Vietnam War. The fortress was once a vast colonial-style prison, most of which was torn down in the 1990s.

About 12.00: Lunch is ready. If you join 1/2 day tour, tour guide says goodbye to you.

In the afternoon: Visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam in The 10th Century, learn more about Confucianism and Viet Nam traditional education with Khue Van Pavillion and Doctor Stelaes on turtle’s back.

Bus takes you to Bat Trang pottery village (45 minutes) to visit pottery worshop where the artisans produce ceramics products for domestic use and exporting. You will practise to make 1 sample with the instructor.

On the way to go back to Central Hanoi city, you will have a cup of tea to have the full view of Red River with Chuong Duong, Long Bien bridge. Drop you off at hotel. Trip ends.
